Under the Lights is the exclusive youth flag football partner of Under Armour, Inc. The league is for both boys and girls of all skill levels and promotes a competitive, confidence building, non-contact football experience.
REGISTRATION FEE $145 (Residents) $185 (Non-Residents)

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
Friday Nights 6pm-10pm
No games on March 19 due to CISD Spring Break or April 2 due to Easter Holiday.
Games are PRIMARILY on Friday nights but based on number of teams, some games may be played on Thursday nights.

*NEW* COVID-19 Information
The virus that causes COVID-19 can infect people of all ages. While the risk of serious illness or loss of life is greatest in those 65 years of age or older with pre-existing health conditions, persons in every age group can become infected with COVID-19 and some may become seriously ill or even die.
All of these factors mean that while certain precautions against the spread of COVID-19 can and will be applied to youth sports, the infection control measures that can be put in place in these settings will differ from those that are suitable for other social, business and commercial settings.
Every adult who is responsible for providing care for youth in these settings must be aware of these facts and be willing to comply with the infection control measures that will be in place in these settings. Parents should monitor the health of their children and not send them to participate in sporting activities if they exhibit ANY symptoms of COVID-19. They should seek COVID-19 testing promptly and report results to the program given the implications for other children, families, and staff. Individuals aged 65 or older are at a higher risk of COVID-19. Parents should protect any vulnerable persons who are members of the same household or come into frequent, close contact with individuals who participate in youth sports.
Hand sanitizer will be provided on all fields and it will be the coaches responsibility to ensure all players use prior to the game beginning.
Teams will be provided with flags to be used during the game. Flags will be sanitized after use and before another team may use them.
Coaches will be responsible for sanitizing their game ball. Each team will use their own game ball while on offense.
Pennies will be available and sanitized after each use and before another team may use them.
Staff will sanitize all pylons and down markers after each night.
No pre or postgame handshakes.
Coaches should maintain social distancing while on the game field and sideline.
Based on Governor’s Order, spectators should avoid being in groups larger than 10. Endzones will be the designated areas for “home” and “away” team spectators.
Coaches are required to wear masks.
Game times will be staggered to minimize the number of people entering and exiting the field at one time.
Pre-game practices are optional.
LEAGUE FORMAT:
6v6 Flag (Grades as of 2020-2021 School Year)
Game times are 10 minute quarters with 4 quarters per game.
Top 4 teams from each age group are guaranteed to make the playoffs.
Division Champions receive medals and trophies.
ROSTERS:
Teams are formed by participants requesting "friends" and "coaches" to play for during the season. All requests must be given on the registration form. We will work to meet your special request, but we do not guarantee that any or all of your requests will be met. REFUNDS will not be given if Under the Lights is unable to meet your special request.
Single players will be placed on teams based on some form of familiarity through same school, sport organization, neighborhood, etc.
EQUIPMENT:
Players must wear mouthguards for ALL games. Any player without a mouthguard will not be allowed to participate.
Players must wear shorts with NO pockets.
REFUND POLICY:
We at Under the Lights Flag offer the following refunds within these specific timelines. All refund requests must be submitted by email to your League Commissioner.
COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS:
All coaches are volunteers and are not provided by Under the Lights Flag League.
